Today’s the day we try to forget about hentai and cleanse our minds with an innocent gallery of moe artwork. Since its December, it only seams fitting that this months moe gallery is themed around the Christmas holiday. Yes, despite a majority of population believing in Shinto and Buddhism, the Christmas season still has a large impact on modern Japanese culture. Since there are few Christians in the country, none of the religious connotations associated with Christmas were brought over from the West, and it isn’t a national holiday. However, many of the things traditionally associated with Christmas – festive trees, Christmas markets, and holiday lights – make an appearance, as well as a few unique traditions that are purely Japanese. See fifty pieces of the cutest Xmas themed moe artwork here inside our December 2018 monthly moe gallery!
