THE iDOLM@STER originated as a Japanese arcade game released by Namco on July 26, 2005. The game follows the career of a producer who works for the fictional 765 Production studio and has to work with a selection of nine prospective pop Japanese idols. The game has seen many different adaptions and variations on multiple Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo game systems and more recently became an anime series. Rika Jougasaki is the younger of the Jougasaki sisters. She enjoys playing around and became an idol to be like her sister, Mika Jougasaki, who she admires quite a bit. Like Mika, she is involved in the Gal subculture. However, she considerably more energetic than her sister. She loves to collect bugs and stickers, and will occasionally threaten to bite the Producer if he neglects her.
